Step 3Step 5

Step 1: Transcripts, Financial Information, Activities and Work History

Step 2: Eligibility, Qualifications, Deadlines

Step 3: Scholarship Applications

Step 4:
Many scholarships require additional items of documentation to be submitted along with the application. These items can include, but are not limited to:

Attachments

  • Additional pages of answers to questions posed on the application
  • Transcripts
  • Work history
  • Activity history
  • Significant achievements
  • Proof of eligibility
  • Letter(s) of reference
  • Essays.

An important rule:

Submit precisely what is required by the application and instructions!

Any deviation from this could be construed as an inability to follow directions, and could jeopardize your chances at a scholarship.

  • Lack of items can provide insufficient information for the scholarship committee.
  • Excess items will usually be ignored or discarded, possibly hindering the progress of your application.

If you have questions on an unclear requirement on a CCC Scholarship, consult the Financial Aid Office. On an outside scholarship, the information packet should have contact numbers or other methods of inquiry.
