School-to-Work
| The regional School-to-Work program links employers and students for learning opportunities
in the workplace, ranging from brief activities to long-term assignments. Options
include job shadowing, community service, internships, cooperative education and
apprenticeships. School-to-Work benefits everyone - from students and employers to parents, the schools and the entire community. You can also earn college credit for knowledge you already possess and for work experiences you gain while at Clatsop. |
- As a student, you receive real-world experiences that reinforce your classroom
studies and help focus your career interests. - Parents: You gain confidence that your children's education is meaningful and that it provides many worthwhile options after high school. - Employers: You help build an improved educational system and provide opportunities to develop skilled employees who can contribute to advancing the company or agency's goals. |
