REGISTER NOW FOR WINTER TERM - CLASSES AT CLATSOP COMMUNITY COLLEGE BEGIN JANUARY 8!

Now is the time to sign up for winter term classes at Clatsop Community College. Registration continues through January 19 at the Main Campus, 1653 Jerome Avenue, Astoria. Classes will begin on Monday, January 8.

This winter, CCC offers an unusual history class with “The History of the Oregon Trail.” This course covers the explosion of emigration that spread to the West Coast in the 1800s. The course will look at the motivations of those who emigrated, the various trails, life along the trail and the impact of emigration.

Community education offerings range from Professional Beekeeping for beginners to a course in carving wooden duck decoys. Sign up for individual lessons to fine-tune your guitar skills, or learn how to hold a conversation in Japanese. Check out the winter term class schedule for these and many more exciting class offerings.

You can access the winter term class schedule on the College website, www.clatsopcc.edu. Pick up the printed schedule on campus and at other locations such as public libraries. The College Catalog, with complete course and program descriptions, is also available on the website and on campus. Non-degree seeking students may also register with the mail-in and fax registration form on page six of the class schedule. CCC offers a wide variety of classes for job training, new or improved computer skills, required courses for transfer to a four-year institution, and personal enrichment.

A number of classes are offered both daytime and evening for your convenience. Check out Clatsop Community College’s new Evening AA/OT, an Associate of Arts/Oregon Transfer Degree with classes held entirely during weekday evenings.
