Ninth Annual Business Leaders of Tomorrow Skills Conference
Brings Students Closer To Their Professional Dreams

The 9th annual Business Leaders of Tomorrow Regional Skills Conference will be held March 14, 2006 at the Seaside Civic & Convention Center. The event is open to all high school business students from Rainier, Clatskanie, Knappa, Astoria, Seaside and Jewell. Students will have the opportunity to participate in such hosted activities as: skill competitions including Accounting, Graphic Design, Public Speaking, and Promo/Advertising; Leadership and Entrepreneurship workshops; Personal Marketing and Effective Management classes; and a Dress for Success presentation hosted by Nordstrom’s fine clothing.

The Business Leaders of Tomorrow Skills Conference is sponsored by the North Coast Educational Consortium, and is an extension of regional high school business education programs. Its main goal is to enhance the building of student self-esteem through achievements in course work.

This years keynote speaker will be Mr. Patrick George, a motivational speaker from the Jostens Speakers Bureau. Mr. George is a world-class motivator who uses true situations to teach students that they can make a difference and they can succeed.
