Auditors Praise Clatsop Community College

After presenting the College Board with the results of their audit of the College’s financial statements, the auditors took time during the February 14 Board meeting to specifically praise the College’s financial management.

“ It is a pleasure as auditors to see so much attention is being paid by management to make sure the College is living within its means,” said Scott Simpson of Moss Adams LLP, the College’s independent auditing firm.

Mr. Simpson and his colleague, Kevin Mullerleile, also commended the College staff, particularly Lindi Overton, VP of Operations, Margaret Antilla, Accounting Director, and Sharon Boring, Financial Aid Director, for the quality of their financial reports and their cooperation with the audit process.
