CCC Students Deliver Some Love

Clatsop Community College’s ASBG Officers delivered Valentine balloons to residents of Clatsop Care Center and to Astor House this week as a token of appreciation for this important generation of individuals in the community.

“Some of our residents don’t have children or grandchildren nearby to visit them on holidays, so this kind of attention from local students and young people is very important to them,” says Mandy Brenchley, Clatsop Care Center’s Volunteer Coordinator.
CCC’s Associated Student Body Government engages in a number of community activities and service projects throughout the year, including a voter registration drive, blood drive, food drives and providing gifts to local Head Start students at Christmas.
