Clatsop Community College Arts & Ideas Gears Up for an Exciting Summer

New on the Arts & Ideas schedule is a Sunday afternoon Concert Series featuring the talents of many local musicians. Each one-hour concert will be held at the CCC Performing Arts Center and will begin at 3 p.m. to allow Sunday Market strollers a lovely place to rest their feet while enjoying an hour of music before it's time to think about Sunday dinner!

The schedule for the Concert Series is as follows:
July 9 - "Strollin' the Waterfront"
North coast guitarist David Drury and Portland-based bassist Dave Captein
July 23 - "Gypsy Chamber Ensemble"
Internationally acclaimed composer and violin virtuoso Kim Angelis, with Josef Gault, guitar and David Carlson, piano.
August 6 - "JB & the Funkyard Gang"
Featuring "Fat Albert & the Cosby Kids" soundtrack drummer Jon Belcher, with special guest and Billboard Top-Ten Jazz Artist, saxophonist Gary Herbig, Seattle bassist Steve Kim and Portland guitarist Frank Tribble.
August 20 - Dinah Urell & Friends
Note:
