CCC Arts & Ideas Lands Greater Tuna

Clatsop Community College Arts & Ideas is delighted to partner with the Coaster Theatre Playhouse in Cannon Beach to host the Coaster’s summer comedy, Greater Tuna, by Jason Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard. Performances will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 7 & 8 at 8 pm at the CCC Performing Arts Center, 16th & Franklin, Astoria.

Greater Tuna is part of the Coaster summer repertory season and a perfect show to take on the road! Radio announcers Thurston Wheelis and Arles Struvie of Radio Station OKKK bring to the stage the entire population of Tuna, the third-smallest town in Texas. In this hilarious sendup of small-town mores, actors Donald Conner and TJ Newton create 20 howlingly funny residents of Tuna through quick-change artistry. Join Aunt Pearl, Petey Fisk, Arles Struvie and all of their friends for an evening of non-stop laughs. Victoria Pohl directs.

Come to the CCC Performing Arts Center and see theater come alive on its stage once again! Tickets are $10 and available at the PAC box office one hour before performance. You can also phone Paula at the CCC Community Cultural Education office at 503.338.2408 Monday - Thursday, 8 am to noon; 1 pm to 5 pm. and charge to your VISA.
