We have an exciting addition this year in that Clatsop Community College
is allowing us to use their fabulous art facilities for a week. Painter
and printmaker Royal Nebeker and ceramic artist Richard Rowland will
both be teaching,” said Elizabeth Snyder, director of the Haystack

to teach for us for a while and have finally won the prize this year.”
The Haystack summer program, in Cannon Beach since 1969, is part of the
PSU summer session and university credit is available for most of the
classes. Tuition ranges from $175-$425 per workshop, with an additional
charge for credit bearing classes. Lodging is not included in the tuition.
