Clatsop Community College MERTS Campus Open House and Industrial Fair on Thursday, June 1—free barbeque and activities for all ages!
 
On June 1, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m., everyone is invited to an Open House and Industrial Fair at the Clatsop Community College MERTS Campus, South Tongue Point, Astoria. This exciting one-day event includes a free barbecue, demonstrations and activities for all ages, and sale items with special student pricing.
 
The Maritime Science Department, Fire Response & Research Center, The Living Machine and the Industrial & Manufacturing Department will feature displays, interactive demonstrations in computer-aided drafting and design/graphics, automotive/mechanical, and welding and fabrication. Radar, Fire School, Living Machine®, M/V Forerunner and a FOSS TUG Tours, life raft & water safety/survival drills. Visitors can also climb the U.S. Army Rock Wall , watch blacksmiths at work, and view vintage cars, street rods and custom motorcycles.
