Second Annual Holiday at the PAC presented by Arts & Ideas and the
CCC Foundation
Clatsop Community College Arts & Ideas and the CCC Foundation are
pleased to present the Second Annual Holiday at the PAC on Friday, December
8 at 7 p.m. This benefit concert features the music programs of Clatsop
County high schools as well as selected guitar students of CCC’s
Dave Drury and other musically talented high school and CCC students.
The revenues generated from the concert will be shared amongst the participating
music programs and the Arts & Ideas Program.
Coming to the Performing Arts Center this year are Astoria High School
and the Port City Singers, Seaside High School jazz band and jazz choir
and the Warrenton High School Choir. Miss Clatsop County Kaya McGrath
will also grace the stage.
CCC is dedicated to sharing the wonderful space of the PAC with the community,
and we are thrilled to highlight these exceptional music programs as
well as give students an opportunity to perform in this unique performance
hall.
Please join us as we celebrate the gift of music and the beautiful facility
that is the Performing Arts Center. It will surely put a smile on your
face, get you into the holiday spirit, and you can enjoy some hot apple
cider and cookies at the same time!
Also in the spirit of the holidays, members of CCC’s student government
will be collecting canned and other non-perishable food items at the
door as part of their holiday food drive. Guests are invited to share
in the spirit of giving and bring food to donate. Children ages 12 and
under who bring in two cans of food can attend the concert for free!
The CCC Arts & Ideas program encompasses a broad spectrum of cultural
enrichment offerings that are presented in a setting of artistry and
education, providing opportunities for creativity and learning for both
artists and audiences alike.
The CCC Foundation is dedicated to supporting the College as it provides
high quality education at an affordable price—providing educational
opportunities that serve the community’s needs.
Tickets are $12 general; $5 students/seniors and free for children 12
and under who bring two cans of food. Tickets are available at the door
one hour before performance time.
The Performing Arts Center is located
on the corner of 16th and Franklin in Astoria.
If you are unable to attend the concert but would like to contribute,
please contact Lenore Morrisson at (503) 338-2473 or Nadine Faith, Foundation
Director at (503) 338-2306.
