CCC Announces New Director of Business Solutions Center

Clatsop Community College is pleased to introduce Rick Gardner as the new Director of the Business Solutions Center located at the South County Center in Seaside.
“ It’s exciting to be part of the College and to be here in Clatsop County during this time of development and revitalization. I’m looking forward to drawing on my experience in “big” business to support and nurture the small business development opportunities in our community,” Gardner said.

Gardner holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Oregon State University and an MBA from Seattle University. Prior to his hiring at CCC, he was employed at Boeing Commercial Airplanes since 1979. He served in a variety of roles there, including VP/Program Manager of the 767 Program, VP/Director of Business Operations and Director of Finance for the 777 Program.

The Business Solutions Center located at CCC’s South County Center offers a suite of services aimed at supporting the business community throughout Clatsop County. The Center offers customized courses in workforce development and small business management. Additionally the Business Solution Center includes the Small Business Development Center, which provides free, confidential, one-to-one business counseling to help local small businesses be more successful.
