Welding Is For Women Too- Welding Program Open House at CCC

Are you a woman interested in a career in welding? Clatsop Community College is holding an open house for women interested in finding out about job opportunities and wages in the exciting field of welding. The Welding Program Open House will be held from 12-3 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at CCC’s MERTS Campus. Sandwiches and beverages will be provided.

The open house is an opportunity to learn what courses are available, scholarship opportunities, childcare options and how to change your life through learning a valuable career. The open house is co-sponsored by Clatsop Community College, Worksource Northwest Oregon and Bradwood Landing.

The Welding Open House will be held at the Industrial Manufacturing and Technology Center at CCC’s MERTS Campus, 6550 Liberty Lane, located three miles east of Astoria on Highway 30. For more information, call Erie Johnson at (503) 338-7675.
