OSAC Scholarship Workshop to be Held at Clatsop Community College

Students interested in attending college in September of 2007 are invited to the Oregon Student Assistance Commission (OSAC) Scholarship Workshop at Clatsop Community College on Thursday, February 1. Information about hundreds of scholarships will be available during the workshop, which will take place from 12-1 p.m. in Patriot Hall, Room 322 at Clatsop Community College’s Jerome Avenue campus.

During the workshop, a representative from OSAC, which is based in Eugene, will present information and tips for Oregon residents applying for scholarships to attend college in September of 2007. Scholarship requirements vary from very specific to general, and the scholarships represented at the OSAC workshop are not limited to Clatsop Community College students, but most do require you to be an Oregon resident.

The OSAC Early Bird deadline to apply for scholarships is February 15, 2007. The OSAC non-priority deadline is March 1, 2007. The 2007-2008 OSAC Scholarship Application is available in the Clatsop Financial Aid Office located in Towler Hall Room 201 or by calling (503) 338-2324. However, the fastest way to get all the information and to complete an application is to apply on the OSAC website at www.getcollegefunds.org. It is recommended that you review this OSAC scholarship website and then come to the workshop to get all of your questions answered.
