CCC Foundation’s “Art of Learning” Event Scheduled for April 7

CCC Foundation’s annual benefit dinner and art auction will be held April 7, at Camp Rilea’s SIM Center. The event, known as “The Art of Learning,” raises money for the Foundation, whose mission is to provide support to Clatsop Community College and its students. Annually, the Foundation distributes nearly $150,000 to the College in the form of student financial aid and program support.

The Art of Learning event provides supporters with an opportunity to bid on artwork generously contributed by regional artists for this purpose. This year’s event will also include a special fundraising appeal, billed as “Hands-On Science,” which will raise funds to purchase forensic supplies for the Criminal Justice program, spectrophotometers for the chemistry and biology labs, and equipment for the College’s award winning ROV team.
