There’s money to be had as well. The Financial Aid office at Clatsop Community College (CCC) is a great resource for discovering the oodles of options for your educational funding. Internally, there are over forty scholarships available for Fall Term that admitted CCC students may apply for. In order to receive CCC internal scholarships, students need to be admitted and degree-seeking students. Many of these scholarships are need-based, however, so students must also have completed their FAFSA applications to be eligible. You may complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at fafsa.ed.gov or you may call 1-800-4FEDAID to obtain a paper copy. Additionally, the Financial Aid office and staff are an invaluable resource in ascertaining further funding options. The CCC internal scholarship period opens April 2, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., and closes April 25, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. The Financial Aid office is located at CCC’s main campus in Astoria, OR, inside the Student Services Center. The Student Services Center is open to assist you Monday—Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Success starts here!
