From: Caitlin Wright Clatsop Community College A Convenient Pesticide Applicator Training Is Offered To Public And Commercial Applicators. Clatsop Community College will offer a pesticide applicator training session on Tuesday, February 26th, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at the South County Campus. It is an 8-hour training session with a one-hour lunch break. The South County Campus is located at 1455 N. Roosevelt Dr. in Seaside, OR (next to Diamond Heating on Hwy 101). Mike Ricks, an industry professional, will instruct the session using the latest updates on rules and standards of pesticide application, and instruction will focus on sprayer calibration and herbicide chemistry. For Oregon and Washington licensed public and commercial pesticide applicators, the training provides (8) credits towards recertification. Starting next year, CCC will hold an annual, two-day, (15 credits) pesticide recertification training. This annual training will be held each February. The deadline to register for the Pesticide Applicator Training is February 22, 2008. Class size is limited to 30 participants, so register now to reserve your space. Cost for this training is $89.00.
