Clatsop Community College Provides Hands-on Welding Experience For Local High School Students

The Industrial Manufacturing Technology Center at Clatsop Community College’s MERTS campus provides the resources and location for local area high school students to implement their welding education in a hands-on professional-grade environment. In addition to earning credit at his or her high school, each student is eligible to earn CCC credit as well. Students enrolled in the Spring 2009 term completed gates for the Clatsop County Fairgrounds.

For information about CCC’s high school welding program, contact Harley Bristol at 503-338-7680.

Clatsop Community College is an affirmative action, equal opportunity institution.
