GED - General Educational Development

Students prepare to pass the GED Test, a national examination widely recognized as equivalent to a high school diploma. GED Orientation sessions and placement testing are available to help students access their skill levels. Classes are $25 and the fee for taking the test is $90.

To Persons requesting GED transcripts:

GED Certificates are issued at the State level, even though tests are taken at testing centers throughout the country, including Clatsop Community College.

GED transcripts can be requested from the State of Oregon
by using the linked form. The GED Program has transcripts for all GED tests taken at local testing centers.

Clatsop Community College also tests residents of the State of Washington, and they receive their GEDs from Washington State. Transcripts for those who earned a GED while residing in Washington State are available at the following address:

The State of Washington has scores only for those who have completed their GEDs. Partial scores are available only from the centers where the tests were taken.
