Automatic Radar Plotting Aids
Includes Unlimited Refresher


This course provides training in the operation and use of Automatic Radar Plotting Aids (ARPA) radar systems for those who will be in charge of a navigational watch in vessels equipped with ARPA radar. This USCG approved course meets or exceeds the Seafarers' Training, Certification and Watchkeeping (STCW 95) code training requirements. Prerequisite for this course is Radar Observer 40-hour course through any Coast Guard approved school. ARPA class is offered Monday-Thursday 8 am - 5 pm.
